Nanyang Technological University student Mohammad Zaki Bin Ibrahim brought more laughter to the lab than anyone else we can remember. Zaki is outgoing, friendly and witty with a quirky sense of humour. Despite his loud and chirpy demeanor, Zaki is incredibly focused and responsible when it comes to work. During his attachment, Zaki treated the LRRK2 mutant flies with a few drugs we think may help to ameliorate the associated behavior deficits. Currently, Zaki is doing an attachment with Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden and we wish him all the best in his pursuit of science. We miss you, Zaki!
