Katherine's Attachment

The past 2 months have been a joyous one with Katherine Strynatka, a Year 5 PhD student from Dalhousie University. As part of her PhD, she treated the LRRK2 mutant flies with certain shortlisted drug candidates. Katherine is a fun, upbeat, and more importantly, inspiring scientist. Infecting the lab with her bubbly and jovial personality, Katherine soon became part of our family. Apart from the scientific takeaways, we also learned from Katherine the power of positivity and how boosting it can fuel our scientific journey.
